In the Town Hall

These were my favorite images that i took under this heading.

These images that i took around the town hall were taken with a red light filter. It gives them a eerie feel. It also makes the images look more interesting.

































This is my favorite image with the red filter because it looks really good. I like the effect that the red filter had given to it. It looks foreboding.

Lighting (Pencil Crayons)

I like these pictures because the lighting and the angle they were taken at makes the pencil crayons look like they are falling towards the light. I also like how the light makes the backgroung go from dark to light.

Lighting (Paint Bottles)

I like these set of images because I like how the lighting has bought out the blue paint and also the black backgroung help to make the blue stand out.



























This image is my favorite from the set because i like the lighting on it.

Lighting (Pearl Bracelet)

I like these images because i like how the lighting has made the shadow in the way it has. It makes the bracelet stand out. I also like how the light shines off the pearls.

Lighting (Bracelets)

The topic was bringing in random images and using lighting to experement with different shots.
I like these images because i like how the light reflects off the bracelets and how the black background makes them stand out.

These photos were taken with various lences on the D90 including Macro lence and Fish Eye lence.

Appature

This first image was taken on the highest appature setting. It is very dark because it is only letting a small amount of light into the lence, but this makes it more focused.




















This second image was taken on the next appature setting which is still letting a small amount of light in, but it is still focused.


















This was taken on the second smallest setting, letting most of the light through but not all of it. For me it is the perfect appature for this picture. I really like this image because it has focused on everything it it is a nice picture to look at.















This is where the appature setting was on its smallest setting letting all the light through to the lense but it is still focused on everything.

Fence

We were asked to take close ups of objects. I also took a close up on a fence. I like the close up of the fence because of the angle and how it looks down on it. And also the colour of the moss is clear.

Tree.

As we were asked to take close ups of objects i took some close-ups on trees. I like the close up because you can see the water drops on the leaves and you can see the detail on the leaves. The colours are vibrant and different. 

Carpet.

I took a photo of carpet, then took more photos but close up so it doesn't look like carpet. I like these photos because how the light is hitting them and its bringing out the gray and an the close up shot how you can see the individual pieces of the strands. I also like it because its blurry at the front of the picture and focus on the middle.

Stairs

We were told to go out and take photos of an object, then take close-up photos of it so then you cant recognize the object. I like these photos because of the direction of the lines and how they go a bit blurry at the back and also how the light is hitting them and making the colours bolder.

We were not given a topic for these pictures.

I like these images because they were taken on a normal digital camera. We were not given a topic for these pictures so we could go around school taking pictures of anything we want. These were some of my favorite images i took. I like them because they are simple, some of them use the rule of thirds, some examples of macro photography, the colours are vibrent and you can see the details in the images.
